My Little Town

by cleaverb

We went back for a family reunion. It was also my parents wedding anniversary.

The first picture looking up Broadway. This was on a sunday morning.these are scans.
We had the only boulevard in the area.Teens would come from nearby towns to cruise Carson.

The classic late 1970s photo inside city hall. My flash should have been off.

The buildings in downtown looked pretty bad. These were built in 1890s,after a fire.

More of the north side of Broadway,Carson.Definitely nothing new.

Grain storage.

A train depot, or THE towns original depot. Not its original location.

South side of Broadway. The buildings look really dirty here.

The rest of the southside.
The images below are scans from earlier years....

North of town, along pump station road.Taken with a disk film or 110 camera, around 1992.

The 'old bridge'.

Christmas decorations, and downtown around the year 1992.

Houses on the east end of Broadway. There were alot of cool houses, but they are gigantic.
Built of wood around the turn of the century (1900).Taken 1992.

The laundromat. It burnt down between 1988 and '92.Definitely taken with a disk film camera, 1988.
