Tips
It's a big world when you start the game. Depending on how many armies you start with, it's best to save a few piles of 5 armies for next turn. Since you will receive 1 re-inforcement for each two countries you own, you will run out quickly.
There is no need to take a territory each turn. There are no cards, like in Risk, and consequently no bonus for trading them in. You can build up for few turns, and then attack an area.

Attacking
When you press the attack button, let it 'roll' about 3 times. Then cancel. Then repeat. Make it a habit. It will save you from losing too many armies, thus preventing your countries from revolting when you defend with too few armies.

Continents
Your first instinct is to go for the complete continent; though this is not necessary. You need to defend the countries you occupy with the minimal amount suggested by the program(it will say,"you need at least 3 armies....").

Revolutions
This is a great way to gain some ground. When you come into contact with one of your territories that an opponent owns, attack it until the occupation force is smaller than the recommended minimum armies.Usually stop at 1.
It may take a few turns for the people to 'revolt' , and award you five armies on that country.
