FAQ

Q: What happens when I eliminate another player?

A: When you eliminate another player you get a large Spoils of War token bonus, ALL of their cards (that is a biggie and a reason to target other players), and the player loses their name plate and becomes a watcher. If you end up with more than 5 cards you will automatically be prompted to trade in those cards and deploy them during your attack phase. Carefully planned it is possible to eliminate a player, cash in cards and place more units, eliminate yet another player, and repeat until the map is yours!

Q: What are "Spoils of War"?

A: Spoils of War is a token award system that rewards a player for every victorious moment from winning a battle to capturing a continent to eliminating another player. The list is too numerous to mention, so watch the scrolling ticker to see your rewards. The grand total of all your rewards will be shown at the end game summary screen. It is quite possible to get 1000s of tokens for a single, well-played game!

Q: I want to turn the Military Advisor off. What do I do?

A: Go to your player menu (mouse over or click on your name plate) and click on "off" in the Military Advisor Section.

Q: The Alliance Feature is confusing to me. Where do I even form alliances, and what are the reasons/ benefits for making an alliance?

A: See the "Club Pogo Extras" section for details on how to make an alliance and some of the details on how it works. If you follow your menu options it should be pretty self explanatory. Note that, to BREAK an alliance formally, you must open that player's menu and formally break the alliance. The usefulness of the feature is that it allows players who don't know each other to make temporary truces to team-up against a more powerful ally or allies. The honor rating should be considered, here, as it is a telling gauge of how much you can trust another player (and they you!).
