My seventh stereo, Panasonic SA-HE70by cleaverb |
![]() This is my first 5.1 system, and it has a nice Dolby ProLogic 2 sound Featuring 100 watts RMS per channel into 6 ohm from 40Hz to 20KHz with .9% THD. The surround power is less, but it does alright for my listening. With 4 full-size speakers, and a small center .
The biggest step-up for me in this system is the 2 optical inputs and 1 digital coax input.
The system also has 5 different ambience settings, and it will rattle the house pretty well.![]() This system has satisfied my desire for a Prologic/Surround system, so I am probably done buying stereos for some time. ![]() I then purchased a used Panasonic DVD-CP67s, 5 disc DVD changer for around $30,shipped. Immediately, the clarity of the sound from this deck caught my attention: it is superb! Much better than the HK 8350. ![]() There is nothing fancy to look at,but there is some great sound.Mine is black, although it says CP67s,with the 's' standing for silver. ![]() I'm using Monster optical cables, which bring a better bass than a regular fibre-optic cable. Since this was placed in my living room, I moved the HK system into my computer room, and paired it up with an old Technics SH-8025 , 7 band graphic equalizer. It's good enough, for mp3s off my computer. And that's all, folks. Return to the Top of the Page Close |
